About
Barbara
Ginsberg
Barbara has a master’s degree in creative writing from Wilkes University. A graduate of Binghamton University and New York University School of Law, she grew up in and around New York City and went on to practice intellectual property and entertainment law there. When her children were young she turned to volunteer work, serving in their schools, at a homeless shelter, as a pro bono attorney at a domestic violence legal center, and on nonprofit boards. More recently she's become a volunteer mediator, taking satisfaction in helping people resolve their differences without need of lawyers or courts. She currently lives in New York’s Hudson Valley with her husband, Ira Schreck. Their two thirty-something sons are off on their own, making Barbara and Ira all the more grateful for the family’s two sweet furries, a yellow Lab and a tuxedo cat. Savage Good Girl is Barbara's debut book.
